Hello, I'm a long reader of the forum and now I decided to post my own project. I'm from Estonia and I bought my moped this summer. I have done a bit of work to it and will post pictures about it.
It has a D50B0 engine
TNT bodykit
Timeless fatbar

CDI should is a unrestricted one, but has no effect when driving. When in neutral you can rev it to 12 000 rpm (before it was about 9300), but I think the ignition curve still goes down and it could rev to 12k but it doesn't have any power there.


Felt like christmas .
And so the engine rebuild began.

First off, removing the engine.

The engine has now been put back together and running great.
Now I would like some help from the forum users to try identifying the model of my moped. In the papers it just says Derbi Senda 50 SM.

It's a Derbi Senda X-Treme 50 SM. The year I can't tell exactly, but I think it's a 2007 model. Looking at the black seat cover, and the frame colors, and you have the D50B0 engine that has been used since 2006 (before that Derbi used the EBE50 engine), so I think this is your model:

Don't have any big plans with the moped. Just ride it as much as I can.

What's the name of the cylinder?

Don't remember the exact name of the kit, but I think it was a KR cylinder kit. I bought it from eBay.de and it cost about 35 euros. The kit didn't include the cylinder head, so I had to lathe it myself. It isn't the best cylinder cause it's so cheap. If anyone wants to sell their cylinder, you can write here.

That's right.

I think you should put the kickstarter a little bit more to the front, because it's damaging the frame like it is mounted right now.

Hello guys

It has been a long winter, but spring is starting to show itself.

Haven't done much to the moped, just tidied up the wiring loom and repainted the exhaust.



It also seems that the head gasket is leaking, but the gasket costs more than the cylinder is worth .
So what 70 cylinder would you recommend with a factory exhaust? Or isn't there any point and should run the original Derbi 50 cylinder instead?

I heard that the Airsall 70 runs well with the stock derbi exhaust

Thinking about upgrading to a 70/80cc cylinder with an aftermarket exhaust. Probably will have to get a new crankshaft as well, because the current one is stock and has many miles on it. What do you think, how big carb should I get? And is there even any point in upgrading when I'm going to run the stock ducati ignition?

The stock Ducati ignition will do well (but if you really want more power or/and faster gas respons you can also get an inner rotor ignition)

A 70cc Airsal (even a 80cc Airsal) can work with the stock exhaust. But i rather recommand a 70cc exhaust to run better.

For 70cc or 80cc a 21mm or 24mm runs good.
